ABOUT US

We're Not a National Chain. We're Not Going to Pretend We Are.

My Guy Pest & Lawn has served Utah homeowners for 15+ years — with the knowledge of people who live here and the pricing of people who don’t have a corporate overhead to protect.

The My Guy Story

My Guy started with a simple premise: Utah homeowners deserve someone who knows Utah specifically — not a national company that trains technicians for a summer job anywhere and sends them to Provo with the same program.

Utah’s clay soil, elevation timing, wasp season, caliche layers (those hard, cement-like layers of soilt that form underground in dry climates like Utah. You know, like nature’s concrete slab sitting just a few inches to a few feet below the soil), necrotic ring spot, billbugs — these aren’t edge cases you look up. They’re what we deal with every day across Salt Lake, Utah, and Wasatch Counties. That knowledge is what makes the difference between a program that works and one that looks fine for one season.

We’re licensed, insured, and UDAF certified (License # 4000-1509). We run a five-round lawn fertilization program, a monthly-application flowerbed weed prevention service, and a quarterly exterior perimeter pest program. Everything is priced upfront. Nothing requires a contract.

We strive for these standards:

Reliable. Honest. Ready when you need us. That’s the My Guy way! How can we make your experience better?

WHY CHOOSE US

We have an exceptional team

Locally Owned

We’re proud to be a locally owned and operated business, built on trust, integrity, and top-notch service. As your neighbors, we’re committed to keeping our community’s lawns and gardens looking good—one home at a time!

Chris, the Owner

Chris built My Guy on a straightforward standard: show up when you say, do what you quoted, and stand behind the result. Fifteen-plus years later, that's still the operating principle.

Jon-General Manager

Jon runs the operational side of My Guy and makes sure the program runs the same way whether it's week one or week forty. He's the reason our service quality doesn't vary, because each tech is well-trained and supported.

Todd, Lawn Specialist

Todd is the person you want looking at a lawn that isn't responding the way it should. If the program is doing what it's supposed to and something still looks wrong, Todd identifies why. Necrotic ring, billbug below the surface, a drainage issue disguising as a fertilization problem — these are his specialty. We call him the Lawn Detective because that's what he does.

Our Technicians

Consistent. Capable. Conscientious. Our technicians are trained professionals who apply the right product at the right rate and communicate clearly about what they did and what they noticed. You'll recognize the truck. That's intentional.
