Lawn and Pest Services – Lehi, UT

Trusted lawn fertilization, flowerbed weed prevention, and pest control

For Lehi's busy professionals — complete lawn and pest service so you enjoy your yard instead of managing it.

Lehi homeowners are building companies in the morning and coaching soccer in the afternoon. Nobody has time to figure out pre-emergent timing, identify the right fertilizer for clay soil, or track down a spider nest before it becomes a problem. That’s what we’re here for. Traverse Mountain and Thanksgiving Point properties deal with elevation, heavy clay soil from construction stripping, and the vole and wasp pressure that comes with foothills adjacency. We handle all of it so you don’t have to think about it.

Lawn Fertilization — FIVE Rounds

One bag from the hardware store moves the needle exactly as much as you’d expect. Our five-round program — WAKE UP, BUILD, PROTECT, MAINTAIN, STRENGTHEN — applies the right product at the right soil temperature for Lehi’s elevation. Timed correctly. Guaranteed all season with prepay.

Flowerbed & Rock Area Weed Prevention

Utah has two weed germination windows. Most companies only hit one. We apply a pre-emergent barrier in spring and again in fall — so Lehi beds and rock areas stay clean through both cycles. No pulling required.

Pest Control — The Barrier Is Outside

We stop spiders, ants, earwigs, and wasps before they’re inside. Quarterly exterior perimeter treatments establish the barrier around your Lehi home. Interior treatment when needed — but outside is where pests get stopped.

What Lehi Homeowners Deal With

Traverse Mountain: Elevation and Wind Add Up

Traverse Mountain sits 500 feet above the valley floor — that’s a shorter growing season, later spring timing, earlier fall stress, and wind exposure that dries turf faster than your neighbors in the valley. Watering and fertilization schedules that work in Thanksgiving Point need adjustment for Traverse Mountain.

Construction Clay Throughout Most Developments

Lehi’s rapid growth means most properties were built on stripped, compacted clay. Sod planted on construction clay establishes slowly, stresses easily, and compacts without intervention. Our programs are built for these soil conditions — not for the well-established loam in older Utah cities.

Foothills Vole and Wasp Pressure

Traverse Mountain’s proximity to open Wasatch foothills brings consistent vole pressure and elevated wasp populations in late summer. Properties that back up to open space or canyon access points are most affected.

Lehi Runs Its Own Calendar. Here's Ours.

At 4,600 – 5,100 ft, generic Utah lawn advice doesn’t apply. Here’s what we actually do — and when — for Lehi properties:

  • Round 1 — WAKE UP: Mid-April for valley-level Lehi; late April to early May for Traverse Mountain properties. Soil temperature triggers the window — not the date.
  • Round 2 — BUILD: Late spring root strengthening. Grub control included for prepay customers.
  • Round 3 — PROTECT: Summer nutrition + billbug treatment (prepay). This is when Lehi lawns separate.
  • Round 4 — MAINTAIN: Fall recovery + sod webworm treatment (prepay). Cooler temps = best growing window of the year.
  • Round 5 — STRENGTHEN: Winterizer. Sets up spring green-up. The round most Lehi homeowners skip and then wonder why their neighbor’s lawn looks better in April.

Flowerbed pre-emergent and weed control comes monthly. Actively fight the annual and perennial weeds in your gardens and get your weekends back.

We know pests better than most. And certainly better than the door-to door guys. And our team has been treating long enough to know the pests in your lawns, in your eaves, around your kids play areas and the pressure of wasp season. Predictable every year. We treat proactively — not reactively.

FAQs for Lehi...

Q: Does Traverse Mountain need different timing than the rest of Lehi?

A: Yes — meaningfully different. Traverse Mountain's higher elevation (around 5,000-5,100 ft) pushes spring pre-emergent timing 2-3 weeks later than the valley floor, and fall timing moves earlier. Applying Thanksgiving Point timing to a Traverse Mountain lawn wastes product and leaves windows open.

Q: My Lehi new-construction lawn looks terrible. What happened?

A: Construction topsoil stripping is almost universal in Lehi. The sod was laid on compacted clay or caliche with very little organic matter. Roots can't establish deeply, which means heat stress, poor drainage, and slow recovery from damage. Our program addresses soil health first — the lawn improves significantly over 1-2 seasons.

Q: Do you offer maintenance programs for busy Lehi homeowners who don't want to think about yard care?

A: That's exactly the program we built. Sign up once, we handle scheduling, application timing, and follow-up. You'll receive a notification before each visit and a summary after. Beyond watering properly, there's nothing you need to manage.

Q: Are voles a problem near the Traverse Mountain open space?

A: Yes — this is one of our more active vole treatment areas. Properties backing the foothills or open space corridors should do a fall perimeter treatment before voles establish winter runs. We can include this in your pest program.

Q: How do I get a quote for my Lehi property?

A: Contact us with your address and we'll provide a property-specific estimate based on your square footage and the specific conditions of your lot. Traverse Mountain and valley-level properties are priced separately given the different program requirements.
